Fibre Plus Nuggets are chunky, high fibre cubes designed to be fed as a partial forage replacer to horses and ponies of all types at rest or in work. Their crunchy texture and natural fibre content ensure the horse has plenty to chew on and they are easily fed on the ground, or in boredom toys, to encourage natural foraging behaviour.

These low starch, low energy nuggets contain quality protein, mirroring levels found in grass hay, and have no added vitamins and minerals so should ideally be fed alongside additional forage sources and the recommended amount of a balancer or other compound feed, to ensure a fully balanced diet. With extracts of flavours of essential oils, Fibre Plus Nuggets are particularly palatable so are ideal for tempting fussy feeders or convalescents.

For the dentally challenged equine, Fibre Plus Nuggets soften easily in water to provide a useful alternative fibre source when difficulty is experienced consuming hay or haylage. When feeding Fibre Plus Nuggets to replace a significant proportion of a horse’s hay intake, they should preferably be given in small, regular meals to ensure a steady intake of fibre and to encourage chewing and promote healthy digestion.

Free click and collect service. Your order will be ready for you to collect within two hours of your order being placed. Simply bring your order confirmation in to store and we will have your items waiting for you. Great if you want a quick trip out.

Local Van Delivery. If you live within a 15 mile radius of the store we offer a free van delivery service on orders over £40. This service is completely contactless and we aim to have your order with you in 2-3 working days. Perfect for bulky feed or bedding deliveries.

Royal Mail Delivery. We use Royal Mail for our national delivery service. Your shipping charge is based on the weight of your order. Please see table below. Unfortunately we cannot ship items over 15kg outside of our local delivery area.

Returns Policy

No quibble returns policy. Simply email help@widmer.co.uk to notify us of your intent to return an item. Then all we need is the item posted back to us with a copy of your invoice and what you would like to happen ie return for refund or exchange and we will get this processed for you in 3-5 working days. Safety items such as hats and body protectors may not be returned due to Health & Safety reasons, we highly recommend you have them fitted in-store.
